    Delta Nature Reserve
    The Delta Nature Reserve is home to Burns Bog, the largest undeveloped urban land mass in North America. The area is home to many extraordinary rare plant and animal species. Visitors are advised that this is a wildlife area, and pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

    Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary
    This beautiful area is a wintering site for 263 species of birds. The sanctuary consists of walking trails to make observations of the many types of birds easier. The birds start arriving in August and the peak time for watching is November. Nesting takes place in spring.

    Deas Island Regional Park is sandwiched between Richmond and Ladner on the Fraser River. The park is home to hiking and horseback trails, dock area, picnic tables, viewing towers and a couple heritage buildings. The park is wheelchair accessible.
